   Cherry Changa  cherry painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Well thanks to all of you who have not stopped following me even in my absence. Hopefully I am back. I painted for the first time this week in my new studio. We bought a home which was built in 1880 a Victorian. It is old, the decor is old and I am in love. Below I decided to show you a glimpse of where I will be painting. It needs a lot of work and rework to get it exactly as it will need to be but for now I have been painting. When I sat down for the first time in a few months it was like I had forgot everything. It is slowly coming back. I thought I would start simple with just a cherry. I now remember why I love to paint. It really is just a part of me. It feels so good to be back.

Little Blue Flowers by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I painted this a while back at one of my workshops. It was simpler and I was just not quite satisfied with it. I added the vase of flowers and the little blue flowers to the right and also the lemon wedge. I like it much better now. 16x20 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.

Oh Boy by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan These were the cutest little shoes. They were white but I added the blue just for interest. I am pretty pleased with the end result. 5x7 still life oil on canvas panel.

Sunny Things by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Sunflowers are so pretty. They remind me of someone wild and free. No inhibited by the rules of some ridged unbending rules. They decide the direction of their path. I like that about them. Still life oil on 7x5 canvas panel.
