I just can't tell you enough how much I love painting. It is so relaxing and calming. I painted this also while camping recently. It just made me want to paint more.

Under Dark Skies barn painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan This is actually a bit darker than it really is but it does have a punch of light and bright interest points. The red areas on the roof edge are bright red with hints of cadmium yellow. At first the clouds were white and fluffy but they drew attention from the barn so of course I subdued them which pushed them into the background.5x7 oil on canvas panel.

Daisies In The Meadow landscape painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan As I paint these small paintings I am trying to focus on the points of interest while playing with light and color intensity in order to keep the focus where I want it to be. Cozy Comfort landscape painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I painted again today. My time is so sapped by everything in life. I know that I surely have no monotony on that but I sure get frustrated when it cuts into my painting time. Any way... enough pouting.
