Peppermint and Peppersauce by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I recently attended a workshop by Qiang Huang and I had always had difficulty with  dark backgrounds so I worked on that a little and here is the results.

Off The Tree by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan A favorite and a few pieces of peppermint. I found this pitcher at TJ Maxx and fell in love with it it is shiny but has ridges. I am sure you will see more with this pitcher. Also I bought the little white dish next to the Santa with the piece of peppermint in it. The red candle is one my sister gave me for my birthday many years ago. I am trying my best to keep the background smooth to emphasize the objects of importance. 8X10 oil on canvas panel.

Christmas Things by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Once again I could not resist this little snowman. It is not something I would have bought myself but a friend who knows me better than I bought it for me. It is so unique and just has that Charlie Brown Christmas tree appeal.
