And Fruit by Angela Sullivan Always I seem to have a problem with naming my paintings. I stand before them when they are done and I am sure I must have the most puzzled look. What should I call it? With each one special and deserving of a good name sometimes I am sure I fall short. But when you have named almost 2,000 paintings they all seem to run together. Anyway that is my dilemma. Why Am I Here by Angela Sullivan I the famous gentlemen frog who is draped here across this silly bowl am trying to figure out how  I got myself into this precarious situation. I am a ceramic frog. The kind that hangs out on flower pots. I have been there pretty much since I can remember then today she picked me up and placed me here across this bowl. I don't like it as much. There are no pretty green flowers to hide in. Why Am I Here....I just want to go back home.  I love this frog. I have had him for several years and I bought that clear glass bottle at an antique mall a few months ago. Lovely together right? Just like they were made for each other. 6x6 oil on canvas JL

  Waiting For My Friend This is number three in fact of my effort to paint a study of the one for my own larger painting. I just can't decide what I want. I guess I will know when I see it. I have seen several paintings of gifts by artist and for some reason I love them. Carol Marine, Carolyn McDonald, and  have painted some outstanding works. Yellow Fellows These flowers just caught my eye so to speak. I just had to paint them. Also there is just something about jars that captivate me. I look loser and do what I do...
