  Zoe On A Good Day  There is just one thing that I hate. The Groomer.... That lady is not so nice. First of all she picks me up and plops me down on that hard table. Then she puts a giant rope around my neck I guess to make me be still. I won't take this lying down. I squiggle and wiggle and whine and howl all to no avail. She won't give up. She just looks at me and sighs. I look at her exhausted. I can't wait to get home. She clips and dips and trims and in the end she sprays me with that perfume stuff. And all of this makes my lady happy. I can't wait to get home I will be under the bed for quite sometime.  6x6 oil on gallery wrapped canvas.   Miss Prissy Pants This little canine has one problem. She does not know that she is a dog.  She sits and begs for food but finds it an annoyance because you should just know what she wants without her having to ask. Getting My Feet Wet A day at the beach is soooooo much fun. I find that you can just romp and play until your tongue hangs out....No literally. So much fun that no wonder we can't come here every day. I would only weigh about a pound. I have never thought of exercise in such an enjoyable way.  Wow! am I tired. The Price of Freedom What is the price of freedom? To some it is greater than others. Some give their sons and  daughters while others give their lives. While we celebrate with fried chicken and watermelon and listen to the pops and whistles of fireworks some people hear real explosives. Instead of their children screaming and playing under the water sprinklers they hide in shelters in fear for their lives. We are so blessed. We have so much but for sure at a price. Thank you soldiers thank you all who have served so that we can celebrate in peace. Thank you to all you mom's and dad's who have prayed for your children...for my children who have gone far far away to protect us. Happy 4th and may we embrace peace... Dandy It is always funny to me the process of naming a painting. So Why?  So why does a mouse look so good to eat? Why are they so tiny and round and fuzzy and why must they smell so good? Most of all I would like to know why do they run so fast?\ UNAVAILABLE

Charlie I am a little dog with a big mean bite. Well really I have never bit anyone before but I do think that I would like it. Sometimes when I am acting all nice and stuff I notice that people smell really good and it makes me want to take a chunk but I always hold back. I always act sweet but one day soon when they reach down to pet my little head I am going to let go and just have me a nice taste. I hope I don't get in trouble for it. Fancy Hiding out behind a trash can in the alley is this beautiful cat. She dosn't know that she is beautiful because she is an alley cat. Abused and left alone she longs for someone to love her. A police officer walking by spots her and with kind words trys to coax her closer. She shys away, day after day he drops by with treats and little by little she inches closer until one day she nudges his leg as he bends down and then his outstretched hand is accepted and the friendship begins. She trust him more and more each day before she knows it she follows him home. Her life has changed, she no longer lives in an alley. She lives in a beautiful home with her own bed and food anytime she wants. Now she has a name chosen by her new friend. Her name is Fancy. 6x8 acrylic on canvas panel UNAVAILABLE

Waiting At The Window She waits by the window. Her person will be home soon. Basking in the sun she will not move from her post. Then she hears the gentle roar of the car engine as it pulls into the drive. She runs to the door and as it opens she finds her place circling around a pair of legs, leaning in the equivalence of a cat hug she begins to hum in a low deep purr. She is in a state of happiness because her  friend is finally home.  8x6 acrylic on canvas panel
