Udderly I Love You I was a little hungry and when she stopped to nibble on the fresh green grass I thought I would get a  drink. True Moo A baby whitish cow. I know that I paint a lot of still lifes but really my true love is painting animals.  Can't help it... I find myself smiling more when I paint animals. That's My Baby A mother cow stays close by her new calf. She will feed her and keep her safe until the day that she is big enough to eat like the others and relinquishes the need  for her mothers milk. 5x7 Acrylic on Masonite Panel

New Beginnings

New Beginnings A new born calf is exploring it's home. A barbed wire fence protects it from getting lost on the vast farmland. Flowers pop up and are soon tasted as the next found treasure. Butterflies meander along in the warm air of springtime. This is not just any calf, He has been befriended by the farmers daughter. He will be afforded a special long life of delicacies. A long life of being loved as the special pet of the Farmer's daughter. 7x5 acrylic on masonite panel
