Still Life painting Sparkle Rosie by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Actually I got the name for this one after a cat. My nephews little girl named her cat Sparkle Rosie, not sparkle or Rosie but Sparkle Rosie and you better not shorten it. She dragged that cat around everywhere. Oh to be loved like that. The sparkle of this vase made me think of it. Unlikely Things still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I bought some canvas recently that was difficult to paint on. It grabbed the paint and soaked it up making it very hard to paint. I applied gesso and it made it a little easier but I can not say that I ever got it to take paint like it should. This is 20x16 oil on canvas panel.
