Things Are Looking Up by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I must say that I love this little painting. Actually painted from a picture of my daughters kitten.  Which brings me to a funny story. My daughters kitten went missing after her husband accidentally let it out. She looked for several weeks and could never find it. A few weeks later her children were playing with the neighbors little girl who was about 4 years old. We liked your little kitty she said. You did my daughter ask. Yes replied the little girl in fact my granny liked it so much that she took it home with her to live.   Zoe On A Good Day  There is just one thing that I hate. The Groomer.... That lady is not so nice. First of all she picks me up and plops me down on that hard table. Then she puts a giant rope around my neck I guess to make me be still. I won't take this lying down. I squiggle and wiggle and whine and howl all to no avail. She won't give up. She just looks at me and sighs. I look at her exhausted. I can't wait to get home. She clips and dips and trims and in the end she sprays me with that perfume stuff. And all of this makes my lady happy. I can't wait to get home I will be under the bed for quite sometime.  6x6 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. Just A Pup It always amazes me when I think of what to paint. Sometimes I want to paint vegetables and still life. Other times it is a little puppy like this that becomes the subject of the day.
