Angela Sullivan Art

Once Upon A Rose still life painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I have seen many paintings of gift boxes and love them all. I decided that I wanted to paint one myself so I chose now to do it. Roses are also a challenge for me and with much practice I hope to get better at them. I always have trouble with coffee cups, keeping the shape right and yes those ellipses. Clear glass is in a league of its own so as you can see this painting was filled with challenges. I loved them all and am pretty pleased with the overall outcome. 20x16 oil still life on canvas panel.

Porcelain and Grapes The coolness of porcelain invites the guest to pick out a cup for the afternoon tea. Also as a treat, grapes of the juiciest quality can be sampled and later tea cakes from grandma's kitchen. What a feast for friends. Over the warm sweet brew stories will be told and maybe a little gossip and silly laughter will fill the room with the things shared among friends. 6x12 acrylic on canvas panel. $128
