Apple Happy I guess I named this because both apples and the color red make me happy. Speaking of happy I was at a dept store today and a young woman was talking on her cell phone but what  caught my attention was that she had an infectious smile on her face. No giddy laughter or chuckles, Just a sweet sincere smile. It really did make me smile. Sometimes I have noticed myself talking to someone about nothing really but I realize I am smiling. Salty good We are wonderful. We are plump and firm just like you would want us to be. We start out green and firm then someone pokes a hole in us and fills us with that red delicious filling, Pimento I think it is called. Which is better? I think it is the olive. No I know it is. And Cherries Two Two cherries sitting in the corner overshadowed by those red flowers. I See Myself I wanted to paint an egg because usually I struggle with them.  I have even been thinking of painting a series of eggs just because. Learning The Hard Way I painted this for the challenge at DPW Go to their challenge to read more. 7x5 acrylic on canvas panel. This was more difficult than you would think. We were to plan the amount of brush strokes the painting would take and try to stick to that number.  I failed as I thought I could do it in 29 strokes but did it in about 34.

Just The Three of Us Red is my favorite. I love it and can't resist it for long.  I thought this bunch of radishes would give me the opportunity to splash on a little red paint once again.  5x7 acrylic on canvas panel

Threads of Life We all start out the same in our mothers womb. We are born and then from there we change. A thread is started in shifts and turns, it weaves in and out. It entwines all in our path, holding on to some yet letting go of others. The thread continues until... And then another begins.
