Make Believe figurative painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan This is my Granddaughter Michelle. She dressed as Minnie Mouse for Halloween last year. I could not resist painting her. This is in fact the second painting I have done of her in this outfit. It is so cute. I have been painting larger than my norm. This painting is oil on gallery wrapped canvas. It is 36x24 inches. The stars and tiny white dots give it a mystical appearance. I love it and hope you do.

Getting My Feet Wet by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan I attended a workshop with Carol Carmichael in Birmingham, Al. over the weekend. It was wonderful to say the least. I certainly painted differently than my usual. Mostly explored more of a pastel look instead of the bold paints I most often use. Over the next few days I will be posting some of the ones I did at this workshop and afterward while still using the techniques I learned there. Thanks Carol for such a lovely time.   Singing In The Rain I can still remember those days of begging my mom to let me play in the rain. I didn't quite understand about lightening and all that stuff. Missie That would be Mrs. Missie to you. I am serious and calm. I don't like funny things. There is only one exception and that I can't help. You see I have grandchildren and they come over and disrupt my life. They break my valuables and eat all my snacks. The very worst thing is that despite my serious demeanor they make me laugh. They break my facade. Oh why must I give in so easy. That's it! They very next time they come over I will just pretend to be sick.  Ha Ha! already I break down just thinking of their cute faces and laughter. I will surely lose at my own game. Watching The Flock A little boy squats down by his pet. He is inside the pen waiting patiently as he watches his flock. 10x8 acrylic on panel board $124

The Market Place As shoppers pass by, this little boy is almost unnoticed. He looks around through the grown up parasols and things and then he spots it, a stuffed toy abandoned by someone else. It is just lying there on the street. He bends and picks it up and now even though he is poor and has no money the little dog becomes his own. UNAVAILABLE
