Another Day
As the day begins, the cups are ready to be filled.
I notice that once again a light bulb has gone out 
and so I start Another Day.

    Hi Angela, I have been here before. I love your philosophy on painting. I am still attending art classes and my teacher sometimes works one on one with me since I just can't get it. But I am happy with what I do and that is all that counts. Thanks you for your visit and kind words on my nurses' day blog. I can just your good old southern drawl and even though I have one too, I have a feeling yours is deeper than mine. We used to spend a lot of time in New York when our son lived there and those folks would bug us to death to hear us talk. I told them, " You talk strange to me, too." Blessings

Morning Coffee The first cup is always the best. When my eyes pop open the first thing I think about is that I am glad to be alive and thankful that God allowed me live to see another day and then Coffee. As I lay there I think I can smell that wonderful aroma. My imagination I am sure.... But wait... my husband did get up sometime before me and the coffee is made. I see the dark rich fluid as it becomes dark in the cup. I feel the warmth in my hand as I hold the delicate china cup and drink in the senses of pleasure even before my lips touch the cool glass rim. And then Ahhh! Nothing like it.
