    Angela, I love this painting for it's loveliness as well as the memories it evokes. As soon as I saw it I was reminded of my father. He lived in Texas when he was growing up (but born in Alabama) and one of his favorite songs was The Yellow Rose of Texas. Thanks!

    Very beautiful, Angela. This painting has a lighter background than you usually portray. I really like it--all that light! And the roses are beautiful!
