Hi Angela, have you ever seen a calf being born. I did once on my cousin's farm in Canada. A very interesting experience. One of the first things the mother does is lick the liquid off the calf. The calf can not even stand initially and when he does he is very wobbly. Keep painting.
So sweet, Angie. Was out and about the other day and forgot my camera at home and happened upon a mother cow nursing her baby. What a precious sight and I missed it. I really must get a Blackberry because even a camera phone photo would be better than no photo. Do you paint from photos much?
Stand Off by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Cow painting on 6x6 canvas panel. I really love the loose stroke of color on this one. It is really nice and I so want to keep it for myself but I won't of course.
Just Because I Love You floral painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Today is my oldest Daughters birthday and this painting made me think of her. Happy Birthday Julie, Still life oil painting on 16x20 canvas panel.
Mr Big Stuff Rooster painting by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan Painting today was so much fun. It was kinda like visiting an old friend. I got that comfortable familiar warm feeling just like sitting on the front porch with a cool glass of sweet tea...with lemon of course. 7x5 Oil on Canvas Panel SOLD
