30 Years Later Soooo...... as many of you know my husband and I repeated our wedding vows last Saturday. It was so much fun...Kinda perfect in fact.  I usually just post my art on this blog but thought this deserved to be shared.  Hope you enjoy looking. I wanted to share because I feel as though many of  my followers are my friends. Here is a glimpse of me and my best friend.

The Fence I tell you if it wasn't for this fence I would come over there right now. Thats right... I really would do it. I see that green grass that is surely greener than what I have right here. Oh and by the way I bet those daisies are quite munchie too. If you could just hand them to me I will be quite content I guess the fence is really for my protection anyway. Walking In The Rain Well actually I wanted to say walking in the rain with the one I love.... Some of you may remember this song. However today Walking is the rain alone is  the case. Isn't rain wonderful. The world smells so fresh and clean. Every thing just looks a little  brighter after a nice summer rain. One more secret about me is that I really just love the rain.  I was sitting on the front porch the other day when a down pour occurred. I got so wet that I  was forced indoors. Griz Yes I am a grizzly one of the meanest bears on the planet. Just the  mention of my name make men tremble. Sometimes I do eat people but that is usually when they get to close like in Yellowstone. You know those pesky tourist  poking around where they shouldn't. One thing though.....I don't eat children. Lettuce Lettuce is not all its cracked up to be. Yes I now it does not have a lot of calories but who cares. It is yucky. It says something about it when the food you are eating is green. Oh Well! Sticking Together My mama and me like it here. We can go anywhere we choose but here is where we want to be.  Happy we are because all we do all day long is roam around and eat all the grass we want and then late in  the afternoon a truck pulls up and throws off some hay. I tell you I really like that hay but I can't have to  much because it sure makes my belly hurt when I eat more than I should  but that milk....Now that is what I am talking about. Udderly I Love You I was a little hungry and when she stopped to nibble on the fresh green grass I thought I would get a  drink. We Might Get Wet A beautiful sunny day at the beach. Beach umbrella out just to  protect us from the scorching sun then all of a sudden from  out of nowhere the clouds roll in and in the distance we can see the rain pelting down as it touches the far away water. Getting My Feet Wet A day at the beach is soooooo much fun. I find that you can just romp and play until your tongue hangs out....No literally. So much fun that no wonder we can't come here every day. I would only weigh about a pound. I have never thought of exercise in such an enjoyable way.  Wow! am I tired. The Price of Freedom What is the price of freedom? To some it is greater than others. Some give their sons and  daughters while others give their lives. While we celebrate with fried chicken and watermelon and listen to the pops and whistles of fireworks some people hear real explosives. Instead of their children screaming and playing under the water sprinklers they hide in shelters in fear for their lives. We are so blessed. We have so much but for sure at a price. Thank you soldiers thank you all who have served so that we can celebrate in peace. Thank you to all you mom's and dad's who have prayed for your children...for my children who have gone far far away to protect us. Happy 4th and may we embrace peace... The Dog I Want To Be The Dog I Want To Be... Where shall I begin. I want to be loyal yet kind and fun to play with.  I want to be the kind of dog that kids beg their mom's to take home. I want to jump and play and frolic among the flowers. I want to play fetch with some little boy. I want to romp on the beach and  lay down in the shade of a big southern oak. I want to sit on the creek bank as my person catches fish.
